He was 60.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Parker died after a battle with cancer, his aunt Emily Parker told TMZ. The type of cancer was not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Parker gained recognition in the 1980s with early roles including Pete in \u201cFriday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning.\u201d His film credits included \u201cBiloxi Blues,\u201d \u201cWhite Palace,\u201d and \u201c9 1\/2 Weeks,\u201d Page Six noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On \u201cWill and Grace,\u201d Parker appeared in five episodes as Josh, a boyfriend of Grace Adler, the character played by Debra Messing. In 1992, he starred in \u201cFlying Blind,\u201d playing a recent college graduate who develops a relationship with a free-spirited woman portrayed by T\u00e9a Leoni. The show ran for one season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Parker later shifted his career to acting coaching. He worked on the Disney+ series \u201cMs. Marvel\u201d in 2022 and the show \u201cSun Records\u201d in 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">His mother, Rocky Parker, was also an actress and director who married actor Patrick Dempsey, who was 26 years her junior, after they worked together on a film, Page Six said.
