And few are as tried as \u2018Treasure Island\u2019, Robert Louis Stevenson\u2019s novel of pirates and adventure.  Streaming service MGM+ is the latest to set sail with a take on the story, gathering a cast that includes David Oyelowo (\u2018Lawmen: Bass Reeves\u2019), Hayley Atwell (\u2018Captain America: The First Avenger\u2019), Jack Huston (\u2018Ben-Hur\u2019), Tomer Capone (\u2018The Boys\u2019) and Tom Sweet (\u2018The Nutcracker and the Four Realms&#8217;). When Jim gets his hands on a legendary treasure map, his mother Bess\u2019 (Atwell) clever and decisive actions leave him holding valuable knowledge that puts both of their lives in danger.
