New British psychological crime thriller Gone has arrived on ITV, and fans are already bingeing the whole thing in one go.<\/p>\n

Starring Eve Myles and David Morrissey, the six-part crime thriller Gone centres on the cat-and-mouse tension between \u2018gutsy\u2019 detective Annie Cassidy (Eva) and straight-laced headmaster Michael Polly (David).<\/p>\n

Michael becomes the centre of Annie\u2019s investigation when the headteacher\u2019s wife disappears.<\/p>\n

The gripping drama was created by Georgie Kay, who previously helmed shows including Lupin, Hijack and The Long Shadow.<\/p>\n

In the synopsis, it teases that a \u2018compulsive game of cat and mouse begins\u2019 as Annie \u2018chips away at the veneer in searchof the truth\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Beneath the surface of the mystery lies a deeper exploration of trauma, trust and the legacy of elite institutions,\u2019 it continues.<\/p>\n

People who tune in to watch Gone might recognise Eve from performances in previous TV shows, including The Guest, The Crow Girl and Hijack.<\/p>\n

Speaking to <\/strong>, the 47-year-old actress expressed her hope that viewers find Gone \u2018intoxicating, [an] addictive watch and something they want to come back to\u2019.<\/p>\n

How did Eve Myles start her career?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Eve had her first major screen role in the BBC series Belonging, which she appeared in from 2000 until the end of the series nine years later.<\/p>\n

During that time, the Welsh actress also appeared in Tales from Pleasure Beach and Colditz. <\/p>\n

After landing a role in an episode of Doctor Who in 2005, she was then cast as the lead in the series\u2019 spin-off Torchwood, in which she played Gwen Cooper from 2006 until 2011.<\/p>\n

Other major credits included Merlin, Frankie, You, Me & Them, Broadchurch and Victoria.<\/p>\n

Who is Eve Myles\u2019 husband Bradley Freegard, and how did they meet?<\/h2>\n

Eve is married to fellow actor Bradley Freegard, 49. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He is best known for starring in Teulu, EastEnders, Casualty and Doctors.<\/p>\n

The couple have also acted alongside each other in the series Un Bore Mercher\/Keeping Faith. <\/p>\n

He also played King Canute in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla.<\/p>\n

Do Eve and Bradley have any children?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Meeting Bradley at the National Youth Theatre in 1994, Eve once joked that she \u2018couldn\u2019t get rid of him\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018He would knock on my dorm-room door all the time with Champagne and glasses he\u2019d pinched from his mother\u2019s house. Then one day I realised he was rather handsome!\u2019 she once recalled.<\/p>\n

He previously said of her: \u2018I was attracted to her straight away, she\u2019s got a fantastic personality and similar sense of humour as me, so we just get on really well.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018We\u2019re both actors, this is our profession, it\u2019s just what we do. The real reason I think we\u2019ve been together so long and through so much is because we were with each other before things really started taking off.\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple then married in Italy in 2013. The ceremony was so small it only included one guest \u2013 their then three-year-old daughter Matilda.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was heaven on earth,\u2019 she told WalesOnline a month after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019d put my wedding off three times because of work commitments. This time I said we\u2019re not putting it off this time, we\u2019re getting married this year.\u2019<\/p>\n

She continued: \u2018It was in the most beautiful villa, we sat on a big wedding table, with crystal chandeliers above us and we had our own waiter. Matilda was just happily running around. It was an amazing day.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018And the day after we just visited Florence and Siena, eating pizza and drinking cold beer. Italy is an amazing country.\u2019<\/p>\n

Discussing getting married to her long-term partner, she explained: \u2018It does feel different from before, it\u2019s a nice warm feeling. It is nice for Matilda to know that her mum and dad are married. We are all Myles-Freegards now.\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple have three daughters together and they live in Cardiff, Wales.<\/p>\n

Gone starts tonight at 9pm on ITV1.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
