This Sunday, Paul mocked Mayweather again, while explaining why he is glad that the rematch against Pacquiao will happen.<\/p>\n
\u201cFloyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao 2. The fight nobody asked for except me! I need this, because if Floyd wins, he can finally pay me my 1.5 million,\u201d the 30-year-old said.<\/p>\n
The social media star made clear that he had little interest in the sporting side of the contest and was instead focused on recovering the money he believes he is owed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t care about the legacy fight. I don\u2019t care that these men have a combined age of a hundred years.<\/p>\n
\u201cI care that Floyd Mayweather, the best boxer alive, uses those same hands that made him a hundred million to Venmo me my money!\u201d<\/p>\n
Alongside his brother Jake Paul, he also taunted \u2018Money\u2019 with a threat.<\/p>\n

The tension between Paul and Mayweather dates back to their high-profile exhibition bout in June 2021, which ended without an official winner but generated massive pay-per-view interest.<\/p>\n
Paul has repeatedly claimed he never received the full amount owed from the event, recently stating that Mayweather still owes him roughly $1.5 million.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, the YouTuber said the dispute stems from a promotional deal involving the fight and the use of his name and likeness.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t make as much money as you\u2019d think fighting Floyd. He still owes me a million and a half, maybe more,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe pre-sold the fight using my likeness to some company, I think in Dubai, for $10 million cash. We ended up doing the fight with a different company. That\u2019s the company that put on the fight, but he sold our fight with my name and likeness to someone else in Dubai for $10 million cash\u2026 Our deal was 15% and he smoked me\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul added that the company involved later took legal action against Mayweather, which he claims is connected to the unresolved financial situation surrounding the exhibition bout.<\/p>\n
