<\/p>\nA former ESPN star has officially filed for divorce after more than a decade of marriage.<\/p>\n
Josh Elliott, 54, is perhaps best known for his time at ESPN. He was the longtime host of the morning “SportsCenter.” Elliott later worked at “Good Morning America” and CBS. However, he’s been off the air for a while.<\/p>\n
According to a report from Page Six, Elliott and his wife, ABC journalist Liz Cho, have officially filed for divorce. The couple officially separated last summer in June of 2025. <\/p>\n
“The marriage of the parties has broken down irretrievably,” the statement reads.<\/p>\n
Cho, in response to the filing, demanded copies of written correspondence’ between her estranged husband and “any person other than the defendant, with whom [Elliott] have or have had a romantic relationship, from July 11, 2015 to present.”<\/p>\n
Elliott, meanwhile, objected to the demand, saying that it was “unreasonable, unnecessary, harassing and not likely lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.”<\/p>\n

The divorce has apparently gotten pretty nasty, though.<\/p>\n
Cho has accused Elliott of hiring a moving truck to move several items from their home, while Cho and her daughter were on vacation. She also alleges that some things are missing.<\/p>\n
“On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, [Cho] realized that she was missing a valuable watch and earrings from her jewelry bag,” documents state, per Page Six.<\/p>\n
“As [Elliott]s the only other person who had access to the missing watch and jewelry, [Cho] believes [Elliott] is in possession of such personal property.”<\/p>\n
Elliott, meanwhile, denies the accusations.<\/p>\n
“[Elliott] did not ransack the marital home. He did not damage the property. He did not render the residence uninhabitable,” his response said.<\/p>\n
‘He removed limited personal property and furnishings so he would have a safe haven from [Cho’s] escalating and erratic behavior direct at not only [Elliott], but his minor child as well.”<\/p>\n
Elliott, meanwhile, was previously fired by CBS, after he had announced a new role in the company.<\/p>\n
“Josh was told he had shown bad judgement by making the announcement, and was walked out of the building by security,” a source told Page Six.<\/p>\n
