Rebecca Gayheart moved Eric Dane\u2019s belongings out of Johnny Depp\u2019s LA home, where the late actor had been living before he died of ALS.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the actress, 54, was photographed carrying a number of items, including a box labeled \u201cEric Yearbooks Kids Photos.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was also pictured carrying a guitar.<\/p>\n

Gayheart filed for divorce from Dane in February 2018 after 14 years of marriage, but withdrew the petition last year due to the actor\u2019s amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis. They shared two daughters, Billie, who turned 16 days after her father\u2019s death, and Georgia, 14.<\/p>\n

Page Six exclusively reported in February that the \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d star, 62, had quietly stepped up to help his old pal by offering him a \u201cpay-what-you-can arrangement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEric [had] one less thing to worry about,\u201d an insider told Page Six last month. He was \u201cliving basically rent-free in one of the homes Johnny owns above the Sunset Strip. He told Eric to pay whatever he could \u2014 or couldn\u2019t \u2014 for rent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d alum\u2019s death at 53 was confirmed in a statement on Feb. 19 \u2014 less than one year after he announced his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,\u201d his family told Page Six in a statement on Feb 26.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following his death, friends of the actor set up a GoFundMe to raise money for his daughters.<\/p>\n

The \u201cEuphoria\u201d alum\u2019s posthumous memoir, \u201cMy Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments,\u201d is set to be released on Nov. 3, with Dane having made \u201cthe deliberate decision\u201d to finish the book after being diagnosed with ALS in 2023.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, Penguin Random House announced that Dane \u201cwanted his daughters and readers to have these words.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPublishing it as planned allows him to continue speaking, in his own voice, with the clarity and courage that defined him,\u201d the press release added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was working on the manuscript right up to the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside his memoir, Dane shared a final public message to his girls on the Netflix series \u201cFamous Last Words.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the interview, which was released after he passed, the \u201cBad Boys: Ride or Die\u201d star addressed the teenagers, noting: \u201cFight with every ounce of your being and with dignity. When you face challenges, health or otherwise, fight.<\/p>\n
