Right-wing commentator and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly went on a homophobic rampage against out former professional soccer player, Megan Rapinoe, after she criticized the USA Men\u2019s Hockey team for visiting the White House and oggling over the president.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe nerve of this extremely homely woman to call these guys clowns,\u201d Kelly ranted. \u201cShe\u2019s jealous. She\u2019s full of hatred for anyone whose a white male. She\u2019s like a rabid, angry lesbian.\u201d <\/p>\n

Kelly then accused Rapinoe of hypocrisy since her team visited President Barack Obama in the White House after their 2015 World Cup victory.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s only controversial when it\u2019s President Trump, you see. She is jealous that they are in the spotlight and she\u2019s not. In fact, she\u2019s loathed by more than half the country, unlike these guys, who are beloved. And she can\u2019t see straight. She wants it taken away from them and she feels powerless to do it because she is. Enjoy your bitter, bitter life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly proudly posted the clip on her social media, emphasizing that Rapinoe is \u201cjealous\u201d that the team is in the spotlight and that she should enjoy her \u201cbitter life.\u201d <\/p>\n
<\/span><\/div>\nIn February, Kelly went viral for an epic tantrum she threw over Bad Bunny\u2019s Super Bowl performance during an interview with Piers Morgan. Kelly declared that the Puerto Rican Grammy winner performing in Spanish was \u201ca middle finger to the rest of America.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFootball, that kind of football is ours!\u201d she yelled, presumably referring to white people. \u201cThey call it American football.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also made a bizarre declaration that everything around football should be \u201cgood old-fashioned American apple pie.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere should be a meatloaf. Maybe some fried chicken, and an English-speaking performer. That\u2019s what the Super Bowl should be.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Rapinoe, an Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Cup champion, has long been an activist for women and LGBTQ+ people. She has fought for trans equality in sports and\u00a0abortion rights, and she was part of the U.S. Women\u2019s National Team\u2019s historic\u00a0(and successful)\u00a0battle for equal pay.<\/p>\n
In a 2023 speech at the Time Women of the Year Gala, she thanked the trans community and said she is \u201conly here because of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLook at what trans people have given us,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s just an opportunity to live a whole life and to be a whole person, whatever that may mean to you. There\u2019s so much expansion, just for myself that has happened in the last three or four or five years because of trans people, because of the relationships I have with trans people\u2026 and just the perspective that I have and what I\u2019ve been given by them, not just our support to them but the way that they refuse to live their lives any other way than completely whole is so inspiring. I\u2019m so thankful for the invitation to be my entire self.\u201d<\/p>\n
