Rap superstar Nicki Minaj, an ardent supporter of the administration, was one of several high-profile guests spotted at the Jan. 29 premiere of “Melania” at the Trump-Kennedy Center.<\/p>\n

The release of “Melania” was not without its snags, as the film was pulled from theaters in South Africa after an abrupt cancellation and, later, a theater in northwestern Oregon for offering its own description on its marquee.<\/p>\n

Grossing more than $16.6 million worldwide over the course of its theatrical run, “Melania” proved popular among domestic and international audiences. Critics, on the other hand, weren’t impressed. <\/p>\n
