It seems that discussion about new age topics is strictly off limits at KIIS FM in the wake of the Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson saga.<\/p>\n

KIIS FM’s parent company ARN announced last week that Henderson’s $100million contract had been terminated after she told executives she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands’ following his harsh comments on-air that left her in tears.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Monday, Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small, 41, took particular issue with one KIIS staffer daring to bring up the topic of astrology.<\/p>\n

When newsreader Brooklyn Ross mentioned the fact that Mercury was currently in retrograde, Smallzy was quick to shut down the ‘woo-woo’ discussion.<\/p>\n

‘I told you, no astrology. No crystal talk,’ he said, in a not-so-subtle reference to the on-air argument that apparently caused the demise of The Kyle & Jackie O Show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Smallzy has been filling the KIIS FM breakfast slot since Sandilands, 54, and Henderson, 51, were taken off air last Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The two-decade partnership imploded last month after Sandilands slammed Henderson over what he said was a ‘fixation’ with astrology.<\/p>\n

The pair were discussing\u00a0 Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u00a0when Henderson proceeded to read out the disgraced royal’s birth chart.<\/p>\n

Sandilands then proceeded to lambast his co-star, claiming that her love for astrology was affecting her work.<\/p>\n

As Henderson protested, he continued: ‘It’s affecting other things, like your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable. You’re off with the fairies with this s***t. It’s mental.’<\/p>\n

Clearly taken aback by the shocking outburst, a stunned Henderson said that she was offended by Kyle’s comments.<\/p>\n

‘I am, Kyle. I totally am offended by you saying something like that,’ she said, but he was having none of it.<\/p>\n

‘Well, too bad if you are because that’s the reality of what we’re dealing with here,’ he spat. ‘It\u2019s affecting everything else. You\u2019re too fixated on it.’<\/p>\n

It didn’t end there, either, with Sandilands claiming that Henderson’s obsession was affecting her work \u2013 something that had been raised with him by KIIS FM staff.<\/p>\n

Henderson then became audibly emotional, fighting back tears as she continued to defend herself.<\/p>\n

‘I would never say things like that about you,’ she said.<\/p>\n

‘It\u2019s a total attack, it really is \u2026 to say: “You don\u2019t know what the F is going on, you\u2019re not doing your job,” that\u2019s an attack and I wouldn\u2019t do that.’<\/p>\n

After apparently quitting the show and walking away from her 10-year, $100million contract, Henderson broke her silence on Friday afternoon, claiming there was more to the story.<\/p>\n

Speaking via a statement issued by manager Gemma O’Neill late on Friday afternoon, the radio queen claimed that she did not quit or resign from the popular KIIS FM breakfast show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I want to make one important point very clear: I did not quit or resign,’ she said.<\/p>\n

Continuing, Henderson said the ‘narrative’ surrounding the drama was not an accurate reflection of what had occurred.<\/p>\n

‘I am deeply saddened by the events of the past week and the possibility of the show ending. This has come as a shock to me, as it has to everyone else,’ she said.<\/p>\n

‘The current media narrative does not reflect what actually occurred, and it has been truly heartbreaking to see how this has unfolded.’<\/p>\n

The statement continued: ‘At this stage, I am unable to say anything further, as I am addressing this through the appropriate legal channels.’<\/p>\n

It comes after Sandilands broke cover for the first time following Henderson’s departure from the breakfast show, on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Channel Nine captured footage of Sandilands outside his mansion in Sydney’s Vaucluse, where the radio star has been hunkered down amid his suspension from his top-rated breakfast show.<\/p>\n

When approached by 9News and asked, ‘Kyle, is this curtains?’ the shock jock had a simple, six-word response.<\/p>\n

‘I can’t really speak, mate, sorry,’ Sandilands replied.<\/p>\n
