James Woods slammed Alex Jones for misconstruing his sentiments about Nick Fuentes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The MAGA actor took to X to react to a video shared by the conspiracy theorist, in which he claimed that the former was aligning with Fuentes, a notorious\u00a0far-right figure, on\u00a0Republican Party issues.<\/p>\n
Jones alleged that Woods\u00a0“agrees with Nick Fuentes that it is time to leave the GOP Party” \u00a0after\u00a0\u00a0Senator Thune’s failure to pass the SAVE Act, as well as\u00a0House Republicans’ alleged efforts to cover up details surrounding an\u00a0$18 million taxpayer fund that was allegedly spent on hiding claims of sexual abuse.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Woods refuted these claims, calling Jones’ statements\u00a0“misleading.”<\/p>\n
\n“I don’t ‘agree’ with Nick Fuentes about anything,” Woods stated. “I’ve never talked with Nick Fuentes, nor did I know who he was until you stated that I ‘agree’ with him.” He added,\u00a0“Now that I know who he is, nothing could be further from the truth.” He also requested that Jones rectify his wrong:\u00a0“Please take the time to clarify this at your convenience.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

<\/span><\/div>\nThe actor and\u00a0outspoken supporter of\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0took to X this week to declare that he would be registering as an independent as he accused a few\u00a0Republican lawmakers of failing to hold Democrats accountable amid stalled efforts to investigate Ilhan Omar.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Days after he lauded\u00a0Trump as the “greatest president of my lifetime,” the\u00a0“Ghosts of Mississippi” star, 78, claimed on X that a few\u00a0party members were\u00a0“uniparty traitors” for failing to hold the opposition accountable.<\/p>\n
\n“I am done with the Republican Party,” Woods\u00a0wrote\u00a0on X. “Between this and Thune’s refusal to pass the SAVE Act, I’m done with these uniparty traitors.”\u00a0He continued, “I’m changing my party affiliation to Independent. No wonder President Trump is fighting an uphill battle every day.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
He also attached a clip\u00a0of South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace, who similarly slammed her\u00a0colleagues for not expediting a motion seeking to unearth\u00a0records related to Omar.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Woods has long made headlines for his outspoken criticism of\u00a0prominent Democrats, including Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.<\/p>\n
Just last week, he shared a\u00a0photo of Trump with his cabinet, referring to\u00a0them as the “greatest President and greatest Cabinet, certainly in my lifetime.”<\/p>\n
