Meghan Markle shared a new photo of herself with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, in celebration of International Women\u2019s Day \u2014\u00a0 and it was taken by none other than \u201cPapa Sussex\u201d himself (a.k.a. Prince Harry).<\/p>\n

Meghan, 44, posted the photo \u2014 which features herself and 4-year-old Lilibet snuggling on a beach \u2014 on Instagram on Sunday, March 8.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the woman she will one day be\u2026 Happy International Women\u2019s Day,\u201d she wrote in the post’s caption.<\/p>\n

She then added that the photo credit was by \u201cPapa Sussex,\u201d referring to Harry, the Duke of Sussex.<\/p>\n

Meghan has made a tradition of posting in honor of International Women\u2019s Day, which celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women worldwide.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2025, she shared a never-before-seen snapshot of Lilibet with Harry, 41, on Instagramwithin a carousel of photos celebrating the women in her life, as well as the who help to \u201cuplift\u201d them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy International Women\u2019s Day!\u201d she wrote in the post\u2019s caption. \u201cCelebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The year prior, Meghan celebrated the day by appearing on a panel at SXSW in Austin, Texas, called “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen” alongside Katie Couric, Brooke Shields and author and sociologist Nancy Wang Yuen.<\/p>\n

During the conversation, the Duchess of Sussex recounted the story of how she wrote a letter to Procter & Gamble as a kid and called out a dish soap ad that implied housework was solely for women.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s right for kids to grow up thinking these things, that just mom does everything,\u201d the then-11-year-old Meghan said during an interview with Nick News uncovered by Inside Edition<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n

And her efforts paid off: Procter & Gamble ultimately changed the tagline of the commercial from \u201cWomen all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans\u201d to \u201c<\/em>all over America \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

During the panel discussion, Meghan also praised her husband for being a true partner and supporter of women.<\/p>\n

“I’m fortunate in that, among the privileges I have in my life, I have an incredible partner,” she said.<\/p>\n

She added: “My husband is such a hands-on dad and such a supporter of me and my family. That I don’t take for granted. That is a real blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n
