Things where it&#8217;s like, &#8220;Hey, keep this thing alive, even though no one cares about this anymore,&#8221;&#8216; Chalamet said smiling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Realizing his mistake, the native New Yorker attempted to recover: &#8216;All respect to all the ballet and opera people out there&#8230; I just lost 14 cents in viewership. Damn, I just took shots for no reason.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Last Friday, the 67-year-old Oscar winner reposted Broadway thespian Zach McNally&#8217;s Instastory about the scandal: &#8216;Why is Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet taking shots at opera and ballet?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8216;Why are any artists taking shots at any other artist in the time [when]\u00a0artificial intelligence threatens literally all art forms, except performing art like plays, ballets and operas and musicals,&#8217; the 35-year-old SUNY Purchase-trained dancer asked.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-document-id=\"cms\/api\/amp\/image\/AA1XMCNk\" data-reference=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net\/tenant\/amp\/entityid\/AA1XMCNk.jpg\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" data-document-id=\"cms\/api\/amp\/image\/AA1XMAAy\" data-reference=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net\/tenant\/amp\/entityid\/AA1XMAAy.jpg\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Curtis &#8211; who boasts 11.8 million social media followers &#8211; went on to re-post clips from prestigious companies like the Nationale Opera &amp; Ballet in Amsterdam before showing a lot of support for Sinners star Michael B. Jordan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Gold Derby is now predicting that the 39-year-old Actor Award winner has a 48.28 percent chance of winning the best actor Oscar for taking on the role of twin brothers while Chalamet has slipped to 36.99 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">However, many of the 11,000 registered Academy members probably cast their ballot before voting officially closed last Thursday at 5pm PT, so it&#8217;s unclear if his chances will be affected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">The boyfriend of Kylie Jenner is nominated for two trophies &#8211; best picture and best actor &#8211; for his part producing and starring in Josh Safdie&#8217;s $70M-budget ping-pong drama at the 98th Academy Awards, which air next Sunday on ABC\/Hulu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Chalamet was previously considered the frontrunner after winning best actor at the Critics&#8217; Choice Awards on January 4 and the Golden Globe Awards on January 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Other celebrities to comment publicly against the Knicks superfan include Laura Benanti, King Princess, Sarah Hyland, Ashley Graham, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Misty Copeland, Eva Mendes, Poppy Delevingne, W.
