Actor Jr NTR’s visit to a hospital in Bengaluru on Sunday turned chaotic after he was mobbed by hundreds of fans who had gathered to see him. The fan frenzy quickly spiralled out of control, with people rushing inside the premises and even damaging an escalator amid the surge.<\/p>\n

The actor had arrived at KIMS Hospitals for an inauguration event. However, the large turnout quickly became difficult to manage as fans surged toward the entrance, overwhelming the security arrangements in place.<\/p>\n

Videos circulating on social media showed fans chanting slogans, waving at the actor and trying to move closer as he arrived at the venue. In the excitement, crowd control slipped, leading to a chaotic situation within the hospital premises.<\/p>\n

As more people attempted to enter the building, several climbed onto an escalator inside the complex. The heavy pressure and movement reportedly caused the escalator to malfunction, forcing authorities to block access to that section for safety reasons.<\/p>\n

Police and security personnel soon stepped in to restore order. Officers carried out a mild lathi<\/em> charge to disperse the crowd and later formed a security corridor to escort Jr NTR safely into the building for the inauguration.<\/p>\n

The incident sparked reactions online, with several users expressing concern about recurring crowd trouble at public events. One user wrote, “Why do such incidents mostly happen in the South? The level of fan frenzy is worrying.” Another commented, “This is the reason NTR usually avoids public events, but I don’t know why he came to open the hospital.”<\/p>\n

Despite the tense situation, the actor remained calm and acknowledged his supporters. Videos showed him waving at fans and briefly interacting with them as he entered the building, further fuelling the excitement among the crowd.<\/p>\n

Authorities are now reviewing the event’s security arrangements after the surge of fans briefly disrupted the hospital’s inauguration programme.<\/p>\n

Jr NTR is currently gearing up for Devara 2.<\/em> The shoot for the sequel will commence in May 2026.<\/p>\n
