Princess Eugenie resigned from her role with an anti-slavery charity, as the fallout from the Epstein emails continues.<\/p>\n

The daughter of the former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and Sarah Ferguson, served for seven years as a patron of Anti-Slavery International.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the princess, 35, stepped away from her role at the world\u2019s oldest human rights organization, the Observer reported.<\/p>\n

The charity said in a statement to the outlet, \u201cAfter seven years, our patronage from HRH Princess Eugenie of York has come to an end. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank the Princess very much for her support for Anti-Slavery International. We hope that she continues to work to end slavery for good and deliver freedom for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

A representative for Anti-Slavery International did not get back to Page Six when reached for comment.<\/p>\n

The resignation comes weeks after Eugenie\u2019s father was arrested on his 66th birthday last month over his ties to the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

The disgraced royal was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly passing on confidential trade documents to Epstein.<\/p>\n

He also allegedly had sex with Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein and his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell. Though Andrew vehemently denied the claims, he made a multi-million dollar payment to Giuffre.<\/p>\n

Released emails revealed Andrew stayed in contact with Epstein years after he said that he\u2019d cut ties.<\/p>\n

Ferguson also shared a close relationship with Epstein.<\/p>\n

New emails reveal she wrote many times that they should get married and called him \u201cthe brother I have always wished for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year, both Andrew and Ferguson, also 66, were stripped of their royal titles and forced to vacate their longtime home, Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n

Eugenie and her older sister, Princess Beatrice, 37, have reportedly been told by the royal family that they cannot attend the upcoming Royal Ascot in June or the Royal Procession.<\/p>\n

The siblings were allegedly \u201cblindsided\u201d by the decision.<\/p>\n
