Steve Carell is going back to college.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Office\u201d star leads HBO\u2019s newest Sunday night series, \u201cRooster,\u201d which premieres tonight, March 8. The half-hour comedy comes to the streamer from Bill Lawrence, the creator behind acclaimed comedies \u201cScrubs,\u201d \u201cShrinking,\u201d and \u201cTed Lasso.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carell stars as Greg Russo, a bestselling author navigating a complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive) on the college campus where she works as a professor as she deals with her own relationship troubles. <\/p>\n

The series also features Danielle Deadwyler, \u201cScrubs\u201d alumn John C. McGinley and Phil Dunster, who also appeared elsewhere in the Lawrence-verse as a main character in \u201cTed Lasso.\u201d <\/p>\n
