And I think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0just like the good over evil,\u201d said Dipika Patel, member of the Hindu Temple of Iowa. \u201cSo,\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0just celebrating one season to another and\u00a0just about everybody\u00a0being equal.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Every year, the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Iowa in Madrid\u00a0hosts Holi, the festival of color,\u00a0love\u00a0and spring.\u00a0The event is celebrated through traditional Hindu cuisine,\u00a0dancing\u00a0and the throwing of colors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThere is a lot of\u00a0different cultures\u00a0in India, and there is the caste system. And\u00a0today\u2019s\u00a0the day. Everything. Everybody forgets everything. And then they all become one, and they celebrate together,\u201d said Raj\u00a0Yalxmy, religious chair of the Hindu Temple of Iowa.\u00a0\u201cOnce you\u00a0put\u00a0the colors, nobody knows who that is. And\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0just another way of making sure that, you know,\u00a0everybody\u2019s\u00a0felt the same.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Stephanie Reynolds and Micah Spurlock\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0practice the Hindu faith, but think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0important to learn and experience other cultures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cI think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0really important\u00a0to keep an open mind and to experience other cultures. We live in a world where we all live together, right?
