Fox and Christopher Lloyd are taking fans back in time with a blast from the past.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The two Back to the Future stars met up for dinner recently, with Fox, 64, posting a photo to Instagram late Saturday night showing the pair smiling together fondly as they dined out at a beach restaurant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;Dining with my bestie at the beach,&#8221; Fox wrote. &#8220;Next year BTTF is 41. Great Scott. Chris will be [88]. That&#8217;s some serious s&#8211;t.&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify\">CNN issues Donald Trump alert as doctor breaks silence on medical condition<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify\">Nancy Guthrie&#8217;s neighbor reveals &#8216;disturbing&#8217; moment that&#8217;s left locals on edge<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lloyd, 87, who played scientist Emmett &#8216;Doc&#8217; Brown alongside Fox&#8217;s Marty McFly in the 1985 film, jumped into the comments with a nod to one of the movie&#8217;s most famous lines, &#8220;Man, that&#8217;s heavy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fans flooded the post with excitement over the duo&#8217;s reunion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">One commenter wrote, &#8220;MY DOC AND MY MARTY.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Another joked, &#8220;Imagine casually eating food and looking over to see this table,&#8221; with one more adding, &#8220;Your movies changed history past present and future ! Thank you so much you guys.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It has been over 40 years since Back to the Future hit theaters in 1985.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the original film, Marty accidentally travels back in time in a DeLorean built by Doc Brown, breaks up his parents before they ever got together, and has to scramble to fix it before he wipes himself from ever existing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The original cast of Fox, Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Thomas F. Wilson have all remained friends over the years, with Fox and Lloyd reuniting in 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2023, all four stars appeared together at FanExpo Portland.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" data-document-id=\"cms\/api\/amp\/image\/AA1XNfml\" data-reference=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net\/tenant\/amp\/entityid\/AA1XNfml.jpg\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto\"\/> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fox went on to be cast in roles such as Spin City, Stuart Little, and The Good Wife.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Most recently, he wrote Future Boy, a memoir published last year about the making of the film.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In one chapter of the book, Fox outlines how he was not the original Marty McFly pick.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Eric Stoltz filmed weeks of footage in the role before director Robert Zemeckis and producer Steven Spielberg decided to bring Fox in instead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For years, Fox never had the chance to say anything to Stoltz about it, until he started writing the book.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fox wrote that he finally reached out to Stoltz while working on the memoir, and the two cleared the air easily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;With a smile, and we quickly acknowledged that neither of us had an issue with the other,&#8221; Fox wrote. &#8220;What transpired on Back to the Future had not made us enemies or fated rivals; we were just two dedicated actors who had poured equal amounts of energy into the same role.
