During her appearance on the “Barely Famous” podcast, Tamera recalled how their contentious dynamic at the time affected their relationship.<\/p>\n

Tia and Tamera have been in the public eye since the ’90s after rising to fame in their sitcom “Sister, Sister.”<\/p>\n

On the “Barely Famous” podcast, Tamera shared that despite being twins, the pair actually bumped heads during a specific part of their relationship.<\/p>\n

“For years, my sister and I lived together,” Tamera said, calling it one of the “hardest transitions of my life.”<\/p>\n

Tamera went on to explain why that period was so challenging, citing several of the pair’s arguments.<\/p>\n

Tamera noted that living with her sister, Tia, was a bit confusing at first. “I remember asking Tia, \u2018Who the hell are you? Who is this?\u2019 Then she was like, \u2018Well, who are you?\u2019 Because we’re different,” Tamera said.<\/p>\n

She explained that over time, she learned that the reason she and Tia clashed was their different personalities, stating that they were “evolving into these different human beings.”<\/p>\n

Tamera, who shared the screen with her sister Tia in TV shows and movies, said that they were so used to being alike. However, living together forced them to realize that being different was their superpower.<\/p>\n

“I remember us having this epiphany, we\u2019re different. You\u2019re the yin to my yang. We actually balance each other out,” Tamera said.<\/p>\n

People Believed There Was Drama Between Tia And Tamera Mowry<\/h2>\n

Tamera’s comments came several months after the public believed she may have been on bad terms with Tia.<\/p>\n

According to The Blast, Tia’s comments about Tamera during the first episode of her reality show, “My Next Act,” sparked the initial concern.<\/p>\n

“I came into this world with a twin, and right after that, I went into a 22-year relationship, so I have never been alone in my life. It has been quite a journey,” Tia said. “Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce,” she added. “It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close, and I could pick up the phone and call her. But that’s just not where we are right now.”<\/p>\n

Tamera seemingly fanned the flame after sharing that she was unaware Tia was even filming an unscripted show. “Tia is living her life right now, and Tia is doing Tia,” Tamera said.<\/p>\n

Tia Shot Down Rumors That She And Tamera Were Clashing With Each Other<\/h2>\n

Tia pushed back against rumors of a feud with Tamera during a 2025 interview and clarified what she meant by her statements.<\/p>\n

“The world, they\u2019re so used to seeing all of us together, but at the end of the day, we all grow up. We all have our own families,” Tia said.<\/p>\n

Tamera echoed that sentiment during her podcast appearance and added that while their “busy” schedules sometimes keep them apart, they always try to stay connected.<\/p>\n

Tamera Recalls Fighting To Be Paid Fairly Early In Her Career<\/h2>\n

According to another report from The Blast, Tamera looked back on some of the challenges she and Tia faced earlier in their careers, specifically regarding compensation.<\/p>\n

“We were 18 or 19 and [our mom] had done her research, and she realized there were certain people in the entertainment business that were making more money, and she knew that, my sister and I, we were putting in the time, putting in the work, but not only that, we had success,” she said.<\/p>\n

Tamera explained that her mother continued to motivate them while they were filming, stating, “She believed in us. And by her believed in us, we saw that strength and we believed in ourselves.”<\/p>\n

The belief ultimately paid off, Tamera said.<\/p>\n

“And my sister and I became, at one point, one of the highest-paid actresses on a pre-teen family show and it started with my mom and us knowing our worth and, again, vocalizing what we believe is right,” Tamera finished.<\/p>\n
