Amy Adams<\/strong> is a legend of film, but she’s most dedicated to her role as a mother.<\/p>\n

The actress, 51, earned cult status for her film debut in the dark pageant comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous<\/em>, followed by an outstanding performance in the film Junebug<\/em>. In the years that followed, Adams has turned herself into one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars, with roles in films like The Master<\/em>, The Fighter<\/em>, and American Hustle<\/em>. She even took her talents to the TV screen with a groundbreaking portrayal of an alcoholic reporter searching for the truth in HBO’s Sharp Objects<\/em>. <\/p>\n

While Adams continues to be an acclaimed star, she took a break from acting to join her daughter, 15-year-old Aviana Oleo Le Gallo<\/strong>, at Paris Fashion Week to enjoy the Lacoste show. The teen, whose dad is Darren Le Gallo<\/strong>, smiled alongside her stunning mother at the show. <\/p>\n

What Has Amy Adams Said About Parenting?<\/h2>\n

Adams has spoken candidly about her early years as a parent. In 2024, she told PEOPLE that when Aviana was a baby, she was struggling particularly hard. In the midst of\u00a0filming The Muppet<\/em>s and promoting\u00a0The Fighter<\/em>, she wasn’t getting any sleep.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t sleeping because I was up with her at night,\u201d she told the publication. \u201cI was tired, but also I felt so different. I know the world didn\u2019t see me differently. But I felt it very internally that something had shifted.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a result, Adams felt like she was \u201cwatching it all sort of fall apart because I wasn\u2019t communicating what I really needed\u2026Just burning the candle at both ends until you can only do that for so long, and doing what I call closet crying. You never want anybody to see you cry, so I would cry in the closet, which just paints such a sad picture, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019m alone in that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Luckily, she and her husband were able to figure out a plan to work on their schedule.<\/p>\n

Would Amy Adams Allow Aviana to Go into Acting?<\/h2>\n

Thus far, Aviana has shown “no interest” in taking up her mother’s trade, Adams shared during a December 2024 episode of\u00a0Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em>. But if that’s what she decides to pursue someday, Adams says she would support it. <\/p>\n

“If it feeds her soul and she loves it, I\u2019m here for it,” Adams said. “But so far, she has no interest.”<\/p>\n

No matter what Aviana chooses to go into, she has plenty of inspiration around her. Amy’s own mother raised seven children while being an amateur bodybuilder!<\/p>\n
