Kate Middleton is marking International Women\u2019s Day with a message of encouragement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Sunday, March 8, the Princess of Wales, 44, shared a tribute on social media celebrating the \u201cloving influence\u201d of women who make up their communities all over the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cToday we celebrate the kindness, resilience and quiet strength of women in our families and communities,\u201d she wrote alongside a photo of a mom holding her baby. \u201cThis day is about standing up alongside one another \u2014 recognising the loving influence of women, who nurture and hope, encourage others and help make the world kinder and more compassionate.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kate also reposted a few spotlights highlighting women doing impactful work with various organizations \u2014 including Iram Siraj, an internationally recognized professor of child development and education at the University of Oxford, Hope Ngulube, a former Ranger for the Conservation Lower Zambezi, and many more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nThis isn\u2019t the first time that Kate has used her platform to honor strong and resilient women on International Women\u2019s Day. Last year, she took the opportunity to remember the late photographer Liz Hatton, who died at age 18 from cancer in November 2024 after having it on her \u201cbucket list\u201d to meet the Princess of Wales, who also shares a passion for photography.<\/p>\n
\u201cCelebrating the strength and creativity of Liz and [her mother] Vicky Hatton,\u201d Kate wrote on X at the time. \u201cIt was an honor meeting them both in Windsor in October. Liz’s memory live[s] on in Vicky’s unwavering resilience. Thank you for such a moving moment #IWD2025.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kate\u2019s heartfelt tribute was also shared alongside a previous social media post featuring a photo of herself embracing Liz when they first met at Windsor Castle the year before.\u00a0<\/p>\n
